*Due to the nature of merino wool, please be aware some pilling may result with wash and wear. This is a naturally occurring property of merino wool and does not affect the wearability of the sleepwear in any way.
size and fit
Our inner layers (such as singlets and pyjamas) are designed with a slim fit and sit close to the body. Our outer layers have a more relaxed fit to allow for comfortable layering underneath, with added length to help cover hands and feet.
care and washing
The good news is that all of our Merino wool garments are machine washable. We recommend using a wool cycle where possible, but a gentle cycle works well too — just be sure to wash in cold water. Shrinkage can occur when wool is exposed to heat and friction, particularly with fully knitted garments, so keeping the water cold is key.
Our pieces can be tumble dried on low heat or an air-dry setting. That said, Merino wool dries quickly on its own, so laying flat to dry is often the safest option.
We also recommend
- Close all zips before washing
- Use a laundry or delicates bag where possible to reduce friction and protect against zippers or hooks
Please refer to the care label on each garment for detailed washing instructions.
About the Natural Wool Smell
New to wool? Merino wool has a very distinctive smell when it is wet — many people describe it as similar to a “wet dog” smell. This is a completely natural and unavoidable characteristic of wool, and in fact, it’s one of the ways you can tell the garment is made from 100% Merino wool.
If you’re not used to it, the smell can be unpleasant while the garment is wet. The good news is that once the garment is fully dry, the smell is no longer obvious. There is nothing you need to do to remove it — simply allow the garment to dry properly and the smell will naturally improve.
As an animal fibre, wool has an odour that is different from cotton or synthetic fabrics. This is normal, not a defect, and not harmful to your child. You may notice the smell is strongest when garments are first washed or received, but it becomes much less noticeable once dry.
Materials and transparency
We use premium Merino wool sourced from Australia, known for its softness, durability, and natural performance. Our garments are then knitted and manufactured in China in partnership with trusted, certified manufacturers who align with our quality and ethical values.
Our manufacturing partners hold internationally recognised certifications, including:
- BSCI, ensuring fair and ethical working conditions
- OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, confirming our garments are free from harmful substances and safe for sensitive skin
- Woolmark Licence, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of the Merino wool
- RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), supporting responsible land management and animal welfare
Although our wool is not yet certified organic, we are committed to ongoing improvement and are actively exploring more sustainable and organic options for the future.

My three month old was waking with a sweaty head. Since swapping her to this jumper she has been more comfortable and not sweaty. I layer a merino long sleeve bodysuit under with merino socks pulled up over her knees. She is sleeping much longer overall.
I got one of these sleep suits for each of my girls and it's everything I was hoping for! The softest merino, hands and foot covers, definitely a bit oversized but perfectly so.
This suit is so comfy! My son rolls around alot and would often get annoyed with his ergopouch suit twisting around his little body. He puts himself back to sleep far more often these days.
My toddler still gets tangled up in blankets. This is the perfect replacement. I went up a size even though it states that the suit runs big. (My toddler is 99 percentile for height) I'm glad that we did as I can see us using this suit again next year with plenty of room to grow. It's lovely and soft allowing free movement. I will definitely be purchasing more.
The sizing was generous, and my taller-than-average grandson said it was very warm. The feet folded over to cover his feet, which we weren't expecting, and the zipper was covered, so it didn't rub.
