This Merino Fleece item is from a production batch where some pieces have experienced more shedding than usual. While not every piece is affected, increased shedding may cause the fabric to thin or develop holes sooner than we would normally expect.
Rather than let these beautiful Merino pieces go to waste, we’re offering Buy One, Get One FREE—giving you a second piece as a back-up.
Simply add 2 items of this style to your cart and the second item will be FREE.
Please purchase knowing that one or both pieces may be affected and may have a shorter lifespan than our usual Merino Fleece.

*Due to the nature of merino wool, please be aware some pilling may result with wash and wear. This is a naturally occurring property of merino wool and does not affect the wearability of the sleepwear in any way.
size and fit
Our inner layers (such as singlets and pyjamas) are designed with a slim fit and sit close to the body. Our outer layers have a more relaxed fit to allow for comfortable layering underneath, with added length to help cover hands and feet.
care and washing
The good news is that all of our Merino wool garments are machine washable. We recommend using a wool cycle where possible, but a gentle cycle works well too — just be sure to wash in cold water. Shrinkage can occur when wool is exposed to heat and friction, particularly with fully knitted garments, so keeping the water cold is key.
Our pieces can be tumble dried on low heat or an air-dry setting. That said, Merino wool dries quickly on its own, so laying flat to dry is often the safest option.
We also recommend
- Close all zips before washing
- Use a laundry or delicates bag where possible to reduce friction and protect against zippers or hooks
Please refer to the care label on each garment for detailed washing instructions.
About the Natural Wool Smell
New to wool? Merino wool has a very distinctive smell when it is wet — many people describe it as similar to a “wet dog” smell. This is a completely natural and unavoidable characteristic of wool, and in fact, it’s one of the ways you can tell the garment is made from 100% Merino wool.
If you’re not used to it, the smell can be unpleasant while the garment is wet. The good news is that once the garment is fully dry, the smell is no longer obvious. There is nothing you need to do to remove it — simply allow the garment to dry properly and the smell will naturally improve.
As an animal fibre, wool has an odour that is different from cotton or synthetic fabrics. This is normal, not a defect, and not harmful to your child. You may notice the smell is strongest when garments are first washed or received, but it becomes much less noticeable once dry.
Materials and transparency
We use premium 100% Merino wool sourced from Australia, with our garments knitted and manufactured in China by trusted, certified manufacturing partners.
Our Merino is superwash treated, making it machine washable and practical for everyday family life. The treatment smooths the microscopic scales on the wool fibres to help prevent felting and shrinkage during washing, while retaining the natural benefits of Merino. The finished fabric remains 100% Merino wool — breathable, moisture-wicking and naturally temperature-regulating.
Our manufacturing partners hold internationally recognised certifications, including:
- BSCI — supporting fair and ethical working conditions
- OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 — tested for harmful substances and suitable for direct contact with sensitive skin
- Woolmark Licence — assuring the quality and purity of the wool
- RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) — supporting responsible animal welfare and land management practices
Our wool is not currently certified organic, but we continue to explore more sustainable and organic options for the future.

Please Check Your Garment
We take great care in inspecting every garment before it leaves our warehouse. However, on rare occasions, a manufacturing fault may not be detected.
Please inspect your garment when it arrives and before its first wear. If you notice a manufacturing fault or damage, please contact us within 30 days of purchase with clear photos so we can assess the issue promptly.
Claims relating to manufacturing faults reported after 30 days cannot be accepted, as it becomes difficult to determine whether the damage is due to a manufacturing fault or normal wear and use.
